CROWN
A tile MMO in your browser, built the 2004 way. The gold is the coin: everything you carry out of the Wilds banks for $CROWN, yours to spend in town or send to your wallet.
01Everyone starts on Greenhorn Isle, learning the ropes next to everyone else who just landed. Then Kelwick: chop, fish, mine, smith, cast. Levels and gear stay for good.
02North of town is the Wilds. Every ore, chest and drop up there is haul, marked with a skull in your pack. Other players can hit you.
03The deeper you go, the richer the rock and the wider the level range that can attack you. Die there and your haul drops for the killer.
04Back in town, choose Bank haul at a booth and hold still for five seconds. The pot pays your share in gold, and every gold coin is a $CROWN.
The creator fees of $CROWN buy $CROWN on the market, and that is the pot. A haul's share grows with its size, up to a quarter of the pot for a full haul. What each size pays at this moment, in coins:
Coins land in your bank. Send them to your wallet from any booth, 1,000 or more at a time. One address per player. Kill your own alt and the haul is destroyed, not dropped.
Ore, gems, valuables and gear gained north of the ditch. Never tradeable or droppable, never banked as items. No coin ever drops: coins only come out of the pot.
In the Wilds your haul drops for the player who killed you, plus everything but your three best items. Skulled: you keep none.
Every coin is a $CROWN the bank holds for you. Spend it in the shops, trade it, or send it to the Solana address you set in Options. No wallet connect, no deposit, nothing to sign.
No haul banked yet in this practice round. Bring one back from the Wilds and your name goes here first.

North of the ditch: iron, coal, one gold vein, a bone yard full of skeletons and three moor giants that do not share. Anything you pick up there is haul.

Chickens by the coop, cows and goblins across the river: the place for your first combat levels, hides and feathers before you head north.

Past level 7 the ground turns to ash. The old war chest out there holds the most coin in the Wilds, and anyone in range can try for yours.
No. Play as a guest or make a free account. Add a Solana address in Options when you want to send coins out. The game never asks you to connect or sign anything.
Yes. Every coin in the game is one whole $CROWN in the pool wallet, held for whoever has it. Banking a haul is the only way new coins come in; shops take coins back into the pool; sending moves them to your wallet as $CROWN.
The creator fees of $CROWN: 2% buys the coin and burns it, the rest buys the coin into the pool. Until the coin launches it all runs as practice, and practice coins go at launch.
Its share grows with its size, up to 25% of the pot for a full haul of 4,000 gp. The table in The pot shows what each size pays right now.
In town, nothing. In the Wilds your haul drops for your killer, plus your items except the three most valuable (one more with Keep Item, none when skulled).
A kill between players on the same address or wallet destroys the haul instead of dropping it, and each player has one payout address.
Yes. The ledger lists every haul banked, every buy into the pool, every burn and every send with its transaction, and the pot as it stands.

All worlds

Click to walk, right-click anything for its options. The boot orb by the minimap turns running on and off; click the minimap to walk there.
Woodcutting, Firemaking, Fishing, Cooking, Mining, Smithing, Prayer, Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints and Ranged. Levels and gear never leave your character.
North of the ditch the Wilds level climbs every six rows, 1 at the ditch to 10 at the far end. Players can attack you within the lower of the two levels.
Everything gained in the Wilds is haul: skull-marked, never tradeable or droppable, never stored as items. It counts only when you bank it at a booth in town.
Attack another player first and you are skulled for 20 minutes. A skulled player keeps no items on death.
Bank haul, five seconds still at a booth. The pot pays the haul's share in coins into your bank. From the bank, Send to wallet moves coins to your Solana address as $CROWN.
Shops sell for coins at prices that move with the pot: an item costs its value at what a full haul pays per gp. They never buy: coins come out of the Wilds only.
Runes cast spells; a staff of an element stands in for its runes and can autocast. Gust Bolt at level 1, Kelwick Teleport at 25 (not deeper than Wilds level 5).
